Welcome to George Mason Chapter, NSDAR
The George Mason Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was organized on October 23, 2000, at Greenspring Retirement Community in West Springfield, Virginia, with Mary Elizabeth Seip, organizing regent. The original purpose in organizing this chapter was to give members living in a retirement community the opportunity to remain active DAR members in an accessible environment.

We are happy to share that beginning September 28, 2021 our George Mason Chapter will once again be meeting in person. Check back with us late August/early September for a listing of our programs for the September 2023 - May 2024 timeframe.
The DAR Museum was founded in 1890 as a repository for family treasures. Today, the museum contains over 30,000 historical relics that form a collective memory of the decorative and fine arts in America from 1700-1850.
